Apartments/duplexes are fairly rare in Selma.
Conveniences: The nearest Amtrak station to Selma is the San Antonio station, located approximately 16 miles away. Three main banks have branches in Selma: Wachovia, Citibank, and Compass Bank. Selma is home to the Retama Park Race Track, a thoroughbred race track with a gorgeous five-story grandstand.
Education: Selma has a single private school, Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. It is a coeducational Catholic institution. Other institutions within two miles of Selma include: Laura Ingalls Wilder Intermediate School, Norma J Paschal Elementary School, Olympia Elementary School. These are all public schools.
